If you search online for wedding planning timelines you get LOTS of results, but there tends to be one thing in common.....they start at 12 months. Fair enough, many people do take a year or more to save and plan their dream day. Not everyone does though.....from stumbling across a venue to our wedding date it was a mere 6 weeks and now my brother & his fiancee are planning their wedding for this summer having only just got engaged (BIG CONGRATULATIONS to them, we are VERY excited!!!).
Dee & Paul proved again that you don't need 12 months of planning to get the perfect day! They got engaged at New Year, got in touch with me soon after and got married in February. The short planning timescale didn't have any adverse effects on the day, everything was gorgeous, the bride, the dress, the venue even the weather - stunning! I even loved when the planned playlist for the ceremony accidentally got put on to 'shuffle' and they ended up saying their "I do's" to Guns N' Roses! The laugh that came with the switch was enough to divert a tear or two in the beautiful Music Room that they had chosen for their ceremony.
Here are some of my favourites from their day.....
"Sarah captured our wedding day perfectly!! We couldn’t have hoped for a better photographer. She is so friendly & made everyone feel at ease. Her style of photography has given us stunning photographs that we’ll treasure forever. Sarah met with us a week before the wedding to discuss our requirements & she made the effort to visit the venue a couple of times before our ceremony to look around the stunning grounds to find the most beautiful places to take pictures. We highly recommend her."
